In Hiromu Arakawa's hit anime series Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric are on a quest to restore their mangled bodies, until they get wrapped up in a plot for world domination. Father is in the shadows, scheming to become a god and sacrifice every human being alive to fuel that ambition.

Father is aided by seven homunculi who represent the seven deadly sins, and Wrath is a master swordsman. On the outside, he is the benign leader King Bradley, but he's really an inhuman monster with incredible combat skills. He's also got the Ultimate Eye and fast reflexes, allowing him to find and exploit any weakness in his opponents. Not even his fellow homunculi can handle him. So, in the broader anime world, who are five fighters Wrath could dispatch, and which five would snuff out his rage for good?

10 Can Defeat: Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)

As One Piece progresses, Luffy becomes a true powerhouse, and he totally merits the staggering bounty on his head. Who's going to stop him from becoming the pirate king? Well, earlier in his career, Wrath could, before Luffy becomes unstoppable.

During the first few arcs of One Piece, Luffy doesn't yet have the power to overcome someone like Wrath. He is tough and wily in combat, and blunt trauma can't hurt his rubbery body, not even bullet wounds. But bladed weapons work well on him, and Wrath's blinding speed and Ultimate Eye would allow him to outmaneuver this rubbery pirate. Then, with some precise sword strikes, Wrath would leave Luffy in pieces.

9 Can't Defeat: Stain (My Hero Academia)

This is the "hero killer," a villain who is determined to weed out all heroes who fight only for fame and money. His quirk is bloodcurdle, which allows him to taste someone's blood and then paralyze them.

Stain gets blood samples with his swords and knives, which he uses with incredible skill. On paper, he's roughly a match for Wrath, but his quirk would allow him to paralyze Wrath for a few precious minutes. Then, Stain can either just leave the scene, or dig up Wrath's philosopher's stone and excise it from his body to finish him off. Lust and Envy died when their stones were removed, after all, and Wrath would suffer the same fate at Stain's hands.

8 Can Defeat: Uryu Ishida (Bleach)

Uryu Ishida is a quincy, a young man with spiritual powers and a bow and arrow. He likes to keep things at a distance, and his arrows can pummel nearly anyone into submission. For emergencies, he can glide away at top speed, or use traps on his enemies. This is how he survives duels against melee opponents.

But Wrath is different. With that Ultimate Eye, he could evade absolutely anything Uryu could throw at him, including all those tricks and traps in the quincy's arsenal. And forget retreating; Wrath could keep up, or even just slice up Uryu's legs before he gets a chance to flee.

7 Can't Defeat: Toshiro Hitsugaya (Bleach)

Two Bleach characters in a row, each with very different capabilities. Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya is a melee fighter, unlike Uryu Ishida, and he is a prodigy at the sword. Don't underestimate him because of his age.

With bankai, Hitsugaya could freeze Wrath in place, though getting to this point would prove difficult. Should Hitsugaya pull it off, he will have a chance to finish off Wrath at his leisure.

6 Can Defeat: Raphtalia (The Rising Of The Shield Hero)

This demi-human girl is one of Naofumi's party members, and a skilled fighter. She uses a sword, and with backup from Naofumi's shields and Melty's magic, she can handle nearly anything that the Waves throw at her.

Her power is still growing, though, and Raphtalia can't handle the bosses of the Waves, such as the woman known as Glass. And one on one with Wrath, she would quickly succumb. She has no magic of her own, and if it's purely sword on sword, Wrath can't be beat.

5 Can't Defeat: Saitama (One-Punch Man)

Don't be fooled by that goofy face; Saitama is a god wrapped in human flesh. At least, that's how the hero exam officials put it. Saitama's speed, hitting power, stamina, and reflexes are all maxed out, to the point that not even an alien warlord could stop him (Boros).

So, Saitama would have to fear from Wrath the homunculus. Wrath does have impressive speed and his Ultimate Eye to back him up, but he would be lucky to put a few scratches on Saitama. And once Saitama decided he'd had enough, he could deliver one punch to send Wrath flying away!

4 Can Defeat: The Goblin Slayer (Goblin Slayer)

In his own fantasy world, the goblin slayer is a hero who can handle any nest of goblins, as the name suggests. He's smart and practical, and he will use exactly the correct shield, sword, and tools for the job where other adventurers would be overwhelmed.

But against Wrath, forget it. The goblin slayer has some skills, but he's never faced an opponent like this, and what's his buckler or helmet against Wrath's swords and speed? Wrath could get in close and stab his blades through the goblin slayer's eye holes, and finish the job in one blow.

3 Can't Defeat: Rimuru Tempest (That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime)

Once again, make sure that appearances don't deceive you. Rimuru Tempest is a slime, and he comes from an isekai anime like Raphtalia does, but they are leagues apart. Rimuru is bristling with magic powers and abilities, such as Predator.

No enemy can stand against this slime for long, even the orc lord, and Rimuru boasts black fire and lightning, steel threads, and of course, the ability to eat anything and gain its powers. What is Wrath supposed to do about that? Run, that's what!

2 Can Defeat: Mikasa Ackerman (Attack On Titan)

Mikasa is a prodigy among the Scouts, and she can slay titans where most of her fellows would simply get eaten. She's also highly protective of Eren Yaeger, and she will gladly give her life for him.

She can use those swords and omnidirectional maneuvering gear like a pro, but this is another sword on sword battle sans magic, and that's where Wrath wins. He can see right through moves like Mikasa's, then deliver a fatal blow without too much trouble.

1 Can't Defeat: Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)

While Wrath could slice up Monkey D. Luffy and vanquish Mikasa in a sword duel, he can't take on the hero of the Hidden Leaf Village! Strictly speaking, no one can, since Naruto has the demon fox as insurance. Even as a bumbling and novice genin, Naruto had that backup on standby.

Wrath can outmaneuver most of Naruto's moves and land some sword blows, but it won't win him a duel here. Naruto can make shadow clones to buy time, then deliver a heavy jutsu to vaporize Wrath where he stands. By the end of the Naruto series, this knucklehead ninja has an entire arsenal of devastating jutsu that would turn Wrath to ashes.
