Tony Stark/Iron Man might be one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but that doesn't mean the legendary science bro always obeys the laws of science. We've compiled a list of ten ways Stark's Iron Man suit bends and, in some cases breaks, current scientific knowledge and laws.

We're starting with his Repulsor Rays, which he's able to fire out of his palms and chest. There's actually nothing quite like them in the real world, and they're immensely complicated. There was an orbital plasma railgun project named Marauder, but that's not quite what we're dealing with here. Maybe it's possible to chalk this one up to Tony being a super genius. He did, after all, figure out how to travel through time safely.

Avengers: Endgame saw Iron Man sacrifice himself in order to defeat Thanos and his army. Although some are hoping he might return at some point down the line (comic book deaths are not, after all, known for being particularly permanent), there's no indication actor Robert Downey Jr. will reprise the role in the near future.
