The Witcher Netflix series will debut in late-2019

The Witcher series on Netflix will air in late-2019.

Season One of The Witcher series will air on Netflix during the fourth quarter of 2019.

The series launch window was announced by chief content officer Ted Sarandso during Netflix’s latest call to investors.

Currently in production in Hungary, Henry Cavill will star as Geralt of Rivia. Anna Shaffer will play Triss Merigold, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra will portray Ciri and Yennefer, respectively.

Eamon Farren (Twin Peaks) will star as Cahir, Joey Batey (Knightfall) as Jaskier, Lars Mikkelsen (House of Cards, Sherlock) as Stregobor, Royce Pierreson (Wanderlust) as Istredd, Maciej MusiaƂ (1983) as Sir Lazlo, and Wilson Radjou-Pujalte (Jamillah & Aladdin, Dickensian) as Dara.
