Within the last few months, there have been two blue CGI creations that have horrified the Internet. Of course, we are talking about the fuzzy, critter-handed and human-legged motion poster for the upcoming live-action Sonic the Hedgehog film and the recently released teaser for Disney's live-action Aladdin remake, which featured what many believe is a poorly-rendered CGI version of the Genie, which basically superimposed Will Smith's face onto a 3D model body -- complete with floating-face syndrome.
What do these two residents of the uncanny valley have to do with each other? Well, just take a look at a fan's mashup of the two below:
Instagram user The Nerdy Hero has acted more like a sadistic nerdy villain in presenting the world with this nightmare-inducing mashup between two of the film industry's most recent CGI failures that challenge the universe to wipe Photoshop from existence in order to prevent similar creations from being released upon the world.
We only have one thing to say to whoever created this: "Thanks, but no thanks."
Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin is set to hit theaters May 24, with Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog following six months later on November 8.
