A new trailer for Season 7 and its Battle Pass have been released, showcasing the latest features coming to Fortnite.

The Season 7 trailer shows some familiar faces watching a Christmas show before being interrupted by a massive glacier stopping just inches from their home. Rather than being greeted by old St. Nick, Sgt. Winter is here with a sword and his planes to wreak havoc on the Fortnite map.

This Season’s theme is “You better watch out”, which makes for quite an exciting holiday season.

The Battle Pass will have over 100 unique cosmetic items to earn. Battle Pass owners will receive brand new progressive outfits Zenith and Lynx, with those who purchased the Battle Bundle getting the Sgt. Winter skin, too.

We also got a look at the hamburger and fries onesie from yesterday’s leak, as well as The Ice King, Trog the Yeti, and Hamirez the Hamster.

Wraps are one of the new features coming to Fortnite, which you can use to customise weapons and vehicles in-game. Wraps are earned through levelling up the Battle Pass. We also got our first look at the new X-4 Stormwing Plane, adding some aerial excitement into the mix.

There was also an ice hockey/ skating rink where you had to throw the puck rather than bash it with a stick, so perhaps that’ll be one of the challenges in Season 7.

Battle Pass owners will also be able to access the new Creative Mode a week before everyone else, where players can create their own island and build their dream Fortnite map.

Season 7 is due to go live later today after some downtime before the v7.00 update.
